  • This page contains the comprehensive rules governing gameplay and conduct. Whilst we have endeavored to ensure all rules provide adequate guidance to meet all eventualities, instances may occur where teams feel that further guidance is needed. In such an event, contact a member of the Admin Team.

  • These rules are subject to change at any time before the registration deadline, so check them often. In extremely rare cases, rules may be altered after the tournament has started. All competitors involved in GamingMonk events are expected to know and understand all of the rules. Not knowing that a rule existed is not an excuse for breaking that rule.

  • Users are prohibited from sharing account information. This includes, but is not limited to the following: usernames, passwords, gamertags, email accounts, etc. If another person accesses your account, you may be disqualified from the Cup. This includes giving out your password to allow others to account recover your PlayStation or Xbox Gamertag.

  • It is the responsibility of the player to ensure the Gamertag/PSN they use, matches the Gamertag/PSN listed on their GamingMonk profile. If a player's Gamertag/PSN is incorrect, you will be disqualified from the tournament.

  • Prizes are awarded to 1st and 2nd placed player/teams only. In order to be eligible for the award, all teams must play their matches in its entirety. If either player/team withdraw from the competition at any time in the run up to the final, they waive all rights to any prize claims.

  • Users are not permitted to compete in more than one tournament at a time as this may delay the tourney, any team found competing in 2 or more tournaments will be disqualified from both tournaments.

  • Participation in a tournament competition constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Rules, the Official Rules, and Admin decisions, which are final and binding in all matters.

  • You cannot change teams in between games in the same series, including Silver and Golden Goal. You also cannot change team after a player disconnects during a game. In both circumstances, the same teams must be used.

  • In case of a disconnection, the following instances will be considered:
    • Score in the match history of Online Friendlies will be considered (3-0, 0-3, 0-0), leading to results favoring the one who retained the connection to the game servers
    • In case of a draw, a rematch will happen.

  • For any other disputes , write to GamingMonkIndia on the PSN, or use one of the many options provided on the portal to contact us.

  • If the previous rule is broken again, contact an admin with proof and your opponent will be disqualified.

  • If a custom formulation is applied later in the game or the opponent realizes during the game that a custom formation is being used, then the offender will be disqualified.

  • If you are unable to connect to your opponent, you must contact an admin ASAP. Failure to do so will mean disqualification for both teams after 20 minutes unless an admin has been advised in which both teams have 30 minutes.

  • When having problems with connection we advise both players to contact an admin and then to reset their Console, reset your routers and remove and re add each other on friends list.

  • If you or your opponent lags out during the match; the match must be re-started, however, the score and time at the point when the player disconnected shall still stand. In the new game, the score will carry over, and the remainder of the match should be played out. For example, if player one is 2-0 up against player two, but then lags out in the 53rd minute. The match will then be re-started and played up until the 37th minute with player two winning 2-0.

  • Both players must report the Match results within 5 minutes of its completion.

  • The report score function will only display 15 minutes after the designated start time of the fixture.

  • Both players must enter the result.

  • If both players enter the result differently, a member of the Admin Team will be notified of the discrepancy and will intervene.

  • Players found to be deliberately mis entering results may face disciplinary action from the Admin Team.

  • If a Match is not played, and neither team reports a No Show, both teams will be removed after 30 minutes.

  • With your camera or phone, take a video or picture of the online friendlies stats screen, send the evidence to the admin dealing with your issue in private message. Video evidence is preferred over picture although both are taken.

  • If a Screenshot(s) or Video(s) is needed in order to resolve a dispute, you must clearly state what the issue is, the time in the video in which the issue occurred, and/or what the GamingMonk Staff member should be looking at in the Screenshot/Video. For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.

  • All participants in any GamingMonk competition will be required to uphold to the highest standards and observe common sportsmanship. Being abusive in any way towards fellow players or admins will also result in disciplinary action.

  • Anyone who has been caught cheating in any GamingMonk tournament may be suspended from all future GamingMonk tournaments. If a player is caught cheating in a GamingMonk match, their team shall forfeit that game.

  • Players are expected to compete in a professional manner. Throwing a match, halting play without cause, or showing a flagrant lack of effort will be construed as a violation of player conduct, and will result in match forfeit and disqualification from the GamingMonk tournament.

  • All results and final placements are verified by GamingMonk staff before prizes are awarded.
