Russian site lists GTX 1660 Ti specifications
For several weeks, the tech forums across the net have been flooded with leaks and rumors regarding Nvidia’s first non-RTX card, the GTX 1660 Ti.
What’s common about all of them is the fact that they all indicate that the GPU is coming. Recently, an online Russian hardware site, Albasoft, listed Palit and MSI versions of the rumored card.
According to the site, the cards are priced in sub $410 dollar range, which seems quite absurd as RTX 2060 is just around the corner at $425 dollars. Please note that these are the prices of GPUs in Russia.
Hardware monitoring tool, AIDA64 has also added support for TU116, which is alleged to power the 1660 Ti, confirming its existence. TU116 is quite similar to TU106 die, which powers the RTX 2060 and 2070.
The site lists no RT or Tensor cores, which falls in line with the previous rumors and leaks. The site recommends a power supply of 450 W, 50 W short of RTX 2060’s recommendation indicating a lower power consumption. A single 8-Pin PCIe connector would power the card.
However, these are just leaks and leaks are..umm… inaccurate sometimes. So, beware.
