Enjoy 35 per cent more performance in WOW with AMD Ryzen after new patch update
If you happen to own a Ryzen CPU, you will now get 35 per cent more performance in World of Warcraft.
The new patch, named Tides of Vengeance, has improved performance across an array of hardware, especially AMD’s Ryzen processors. AMD claims that Ryzen users can witness an increase in performance by a margin as big as 35 per cent.
Comparing performance before and after the patch, we see an increase from 43.2 to 58.1 FPS on Ryzen 5 2500X and an increase from 42.7 to 58.2 FPS, when gaming on Ryzen 7 2700x. The benchmarks were done one system with a GTX 1080, 16 gigs of 3200 MHz memory with the game installed on a Samsung 850 Evo SSD.
The game was tested on 1080p resolution. If you are gaming on 4k, expect a rise of 22-24 per cent.
