Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Footage Coming Tonight
CD Projekt Red’s marketing has been on point when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077. From the initial trailer that blew people’s minds to the E3 trailer that had a bunch of game codes hidden followed by the first actual trailer of the game. CDPR is back at it with even more cryptic stuff.
There’s an ongoing live stream titled “Data Transmission In Progress” (IGN Restream shown above, click here for CDPR Twitch Stream) which just has a bunch of seemingly random code being written on the screen. People have theorized that this is creating a huge image and also that all the code is in base64 and has to be decoded. While there’s a lot of theories as to what’s going to happen, there is one prominent “leak” that seems to state that we’re going to get gameplay footage at 7PM CET(10:30PM IST) today. Two Italian websites(source linked below) have written about a Twitch stream that will go live at 18:45 and is about a mysterious game that is highly anticipated.
There’s also another post that hints at the fact that on Monday(today) we’re going to see the 3rd trailer as seen from the information gathered in the image below. This information was gathered from the email sent out to the Gamescom ARG Winners. While the person does state that it could refer to September 3rd which is also a Monday and last day of PAX West, we think that it denotes the 3rd Trailer and not 3rd September.
While the websites aren’t necessarily pointing to Cyberpunk 2077, we can speculate that with the cryptic live stream and the fact that something is going to be shown today, something that is “highly anticipated”. Even if the rumour turns out to be for another game, we can expect something very soon from CDPR.
