Build A PC For Gaming And Streaming Under INR 70,000

Are you tired of looking at your friends play all the latest games while you sit by yourself? Do you look up to your favourite streamers and wonder if you have what it takes to be one? Well, we don’t know if you do, but we know one thing for sure. You can build an awesome PC that can let you game and stream by spending as little (or as much, if you want to be a pessimist) as INR 70,000. And we’re here to help you do just that.

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Price: INR 17900 (Amazon)

For our processor, we are going with the red team’s highly versatile Ryzen 5 2600. Clocked at 3.9 GHz, it comes with 6 cores and 12 threads which play an important role in multi-threaded processes like streaming your pro gameplay. It’s a well balanced CPU and provides amazing value for money at its price point of INR 17900.

Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO VDH
Price: INR 7307 (Amazon)

For the motherboard, we have chosen MSI’s B450M Pro VDH. The B450 chipset lets us overclock our Ryzen 5 2600 for a nice performance bump, and unlike a lot of M series motherboard, it comes with 4 RAM slots instead of 2, which you can use to increase your RAM should you need it in the future.

Graphics Card: ZOTAC Gaming GTX 1660 Ti
Price: INR 25750 (Amazon)

We reviewed the GTX 1660 Ti recently, and it’s the perfect card for 1080p 60 FPS gaming. It’s a decent upgrade over the 1060, and even beats the RX 590 in a lot of benchmarks. Sure, the RX 590 has 8GB VRAM compared to the 1660 Ti’s 6GB, but as we’ve seen in the tests, 6GB is more than enough to handle most of the latest games at high settings.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 3000MHz (8GB x 2)
Price: INR 7830 (Amazon)

For RAM, we are going with two 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 memory sticks running at 3000 MHz. It’s affordable, reliable, and as Ryzen processors benefit greatly from faster RAM, these 3000MHz memory modules will help us extract every bit of performance from our 2600 CPU.

Power Supply: DeepCool Aurora DA500 80+ Bronze 500W PSU
Price: INR 3500 (Amazon)

We always recommend going with a PSU that has an 80+ Bronze rating at the very least, as it ensures a steady power supply to your beloved parts and makes sure they don’t get damaged. The recommended power supply for the GTX 1660 Ti is 450W, so we’re going with DeepCool’s Aurora 500W 80+ Bronze PSU.

Storage:240GB WD Green SSD + 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM HDD
Price: INR 2580 (SSD) and INR 3204 (HDD)(Amazon)

Let’s face it people, no modern PC is complete without a SSD. Who wants to wait for 5 minutes for Windows to boot up? So, we’ve chosen a WD Green 240GB SSD for booting, key games and software, while a secondary 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM HDD will take care of more games, movies and, you know, homework. *wink wink*

Cabinet: Corsair Carbide Spec 01 Mid-Tower Cabinet
Price: 2950 (Amazon)

We’ve chosen a Corsair Carbide Spec 01 cabinet to fit in all our components. It’s a mid tower case that comes with a red LED intake fan, and more than enough space to add more fans in case you need them. Also, there’s a window on the side panel, so you can show off your cool hardware whenever your friends come over.

Adding up, the total cost comes up to be about INR 70,900. I know, that’s not exactly under 70,000, but would you let INR 900 give you a sub par gaming experience. Trust me, you wouldn’t. Although, one thing you should note is that you can get better prices too, based on where you live and the corresponding retailers you can buy from.
And should you be inclined, you can even extend your budget upto INR 75000 and get an RTX 2060! But that depends solely on your preferences and budget. This list is just there to provide you a general guideline. For instance, if you want to focus more on just gaming, you can go with the Intel i5 9400F too and a B360 motherboard too, and bring the budget down.

Intel 9400F Price: INR 12,899 (Amazon)
MSI B360M PRO-VD Price: INR 6937 (Amazon)
