Assassin’s Creed 3 Remaster Announced for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remaster Announced for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4

After a lot of rumours and leaks we finally have an official announcement for Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered.

This new remastered edition of the game seems to only be a visual overhaul of the title with 4K resolution support and HDR. There’s also a lot of changes to the lighting of the game with a really warm tone throughout the game now as seen in the trailer.

The game comes with all single-player DLC and also with Assassin’s Creed Liberation which is a game that takes place around the same time and ties in with the events of the Assassin’s Creed 3.

While we only have a little bit of information regarding what seems to be changed in this remaster, the fact that there doesn’t seem to be any gameplay changes is a bit of a step back because the Assassin’s Creed series gameplay has changed a lot over the past few years with Assassin’s Creed Unity arguably having the most fluid movement yet in the series.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is also a title that has the fanbase split about the fact that whether it is a good game or not. While most people tend to dislike the game because of how boring the felt the protagonist was, many praise it for how interesting the story was.

Assassin’s Creed 3 takes place during the American Revolution and you play as
Ratonhnhaké:ton a half-English, half-Mohawk who also goes by the name of Connor who is fighting to get revenge on those who destroyed his village and to gain freedom for his people.

Assassin’s Creed 3 will be out on March 29th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
